It makes perfect sense. Why struggle trying to rank for keywords you have no shot at ranking for? Instead, look at the keywords you are ranking for, and continue to build on those. Take a search that brings you up on page 2 and push yourself to page 1 for that term. Such a simple idea and yet we fight for the keywords we want rather than submit to the ones the search engines assign us.
