Sometimes, the social-media market seems like California during the Gold Rush: everyone everywhere yells, “Thar’s gold in them-thar hills!” and rushes in with their marketing pickaxes and shovels. However, in their haste, marketers are jumping into media-spaces that they actually know little about.
