If the ear noise that you experience is rhythmical and beats in time with your heartbeat, then you have pulsatile tinnitus. It may come as a low-pitched thumping or booming sound, or as a high-pitched clicking noise. It is the less common tinnitus type, and only around 3% of the sufferers of the condition experience this type.

Many have known tinnitus as ringing ears but only a few are familiar with its symptoms. Some experience its symptoms at a young age. But according to statistics, tinnitus symptoms are a source of nuisance in 12 percent of men in their old age.
